High Mountain Tea refers to oolong tea that is grown at altitudes over 1,000 meters (3,300 feet). They are highly prized by tea connoisseurs around the world, since the higher the altitude at which the tea plant is grown, the more complex and interesting its aromas and flavours are.
A tea lover myself, I personally taste and select the tea from family-run farms that I know. This ensures that what I drink (and what I offer to you) is tea that is amazing, affordable, genuine and safe for everyday enjoyment. You can read more about how I select my tea here.
And what better way to surprise mum than with a gift of High Mountain Tea this Mother's Day? I am sure she would be delighted with the light, floral fragrance and the smooth, lingering nutty aftertaste that delivers both relaxation and inspiration at the same time.
